Workplace Violence Prevention Plan

In accordance with California law SB 533, Riverbank Unified School District is committed to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. Our Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) outlines proactive measures to prevent and address incidents of workplace violence, ensuring the safety and well-being of staff and students. Key components of the plan include:

  • Risk Assessment: Regular assessments of potential risks within the workplace, identifying factors that may contribute to violence.
  • Training and Education: Employees receive ongoing training on recognizing, preventing, and responding to workplace violence, including conflict resolution techniques.
  • Incident Reporting: A streamlined process for reporting incidents of workplace violence, including harassment, threats, or physical harm.
  • Response Procedures: Detailed steps for responding to incidents, including immediate action, reporting, and investigation procedures.
  • Support Services: Access to resources such as counseling and medical assistance for employees affected by workplace violence.

We are dedicated to fostering a safe and respectful workplace, in compliance with state regulations.
